Jim Palmer, Newsletters, and a “Double-Ten” Celebration

by , under Uncategorized

The other day, I had the very unique opportunity to spend several days with my good friend, Jim Palmer. Jim is known as “The Newsletter Guru,” because of his business of creating “done-for-you” newsletters for businesses of all types. But newsletters are not all that Jim does. He has a number of excellent products that can help business owners market their services more effectively and sell more persuasively. I know… I personally own several of his books and products.

Jim and I spent a couple of days together at Joe Polish and Dean Jackson’s “I Love Marketing” seminar, then we flew to Los Angeles where we both spoke at Melanie Benson Strick’s “The Big Idea Incubator” program. Along the way, Jim interviewed me about my recent bout with cancer, and I learned that he is a 10-year cancer survivor, himself.

Jim is a great guy, and someone I’m confident you’d love to be around. Always positive, always upbeat, always interested in you as a person, and not just another acquaintance. But even more, Jim is a treasure trove of marketing know-how, and is so willing to share. His newsletter service is something every business owner, every entrepreneur, every consultant, and everyone responsible for creating more leads, more sales, and more profits should check out.

Knowing how sharing Jim is, I asked him if I could interview him about his newsletter service and send it to our consultants. He unhesitatingly agreed, and in short order we were on the phone where he tipped over his brain and spilled out some very good information and strategies that we can all benefit from.

You can listen to the interview here…

I thought it was very generous of Jim to share his knowledge, but what really blew me away, was that this morning, I got an email from him telling about his “Double Ten” sale. Jim is having a sale on ALL of his products to celebrate his 10th year in business, and his 10th anniversary of being cancer-free. You can learn about his offer at www.JimsAnniversarySale.com, and if you’re interested in any of his products, this is an opportunity to save some money and at the same time get some incredible value.

I know this sounds like a commercial for Jim and his products… and it is. But if you’ve been following me for any length of time, you’ll know that I do not participate in ANY affiliate-type programs, and do NOT accept any commissions or remuneration of ANY type from anyone I refer. If I did, you’d wonder if I was making the referral because I could gain a commission, or if I did it because I truly believed in the product or service being offered. I NEVER want that to happen… or even cross your mind. My reputation is on the line and there’s no way I would ever compromise it… not for any amount of money.

The simple reason I’m telling you about Jim and his sale, is because I personally own several of his products, read EVERY email he sends to me, and visit his website to see the marketing videos he posts on a regular basis… they’re that good. Nothing complicated. Nothing difficult. Just good, solid information in bite-size pieces that is actionable and implementable in your business (or your clients’ businesses).

Suppose you know everything Jim says or teaches on his videos. And suppose you already implement all of it in your business. That would be awesome. But let’s look at what Jim does from an entirely different angle… If you learn nothing more from Jim than HOW he markets – his website, his videos (shot in a variety of locations – his backyard, on the lake, in his office, etc., his ezine layout and content, and the way he puts together and markets his various products – you’d have an education that you couldn’t get anywhere else, for any amount of money.

At the beginning of this article, I mentioned that I had the very unique opportunity to spend a couple of days with Jim… and I meant it exactly the way I said it. Now you can have an introductory meeting with Jim by listening to our recorded interview and visiting his special “Double Ten” website (www.JimsAnniversarySale.com) and looking around. He has other websites devoted to his social media marketing, his books, and other products.

What you’ve just read is TOTALLY out of character for me. You know I very seldom recommend any one or any product or service; and I only do it if I believe it can be of extreme value to you and that you can get the best possible price… and let me reiterate… I do not make a dime from any referral I make. Ever. Period.
As usual, please let me know your comments and how I can help you move more quickly towards your goals.
