The Cat’s Out Of The Bag

Things happen. Sometimes they’re planned and sometimes they’re not.

Late yesterday afternoon one of those unexpected and unplanned things happened to us here at TopLine.

As you may have read in an email you received from us, we have just entered into a strategic alliance relationship with a very successful and very well respected marketing company to (among other things) furnish our consultants with 35 to 40 confirmed appointments per month – not leads, but confirmed appointments.

This one feature alone will make it significantly easier for our consultants to generate huge personal incomes, as they can now focus on what they really want to do – help their clients make money – and not have to worry about marketing and getting clients.

The TopLine system has always been respected for the ease in which consultants can generate clients, but with this new addition of us providing appointments, the “generating clients” step has been removed and our consultants can focus on the things that make them money.

The email that you received was meant for our consultants’ eyes only. It was NOT meant to go to people who have not joined the TopLine team. But Sandy, in her excitement to get the message out to the consultants, sent it to everyone on our list consultants and those who have inquired about the TopLine program in the past. And that’s why you got what was supposed to be a private – for consultants only email.

I had no idea that that message went out to everyone last night. It was only this morning when I arrived at my office and saw the huge number of emails from consultants as well as others in our database who were enquiring about how to get on the list of those who will able to participate in the new program.

You may recall from the previous email, I said that we are only taking a limited number of participants because we want to work very closely with them and make them incredibly successful as fast as possible so we can use their experiences to show others how well and how quickly the system works.

Well, now that the cat’s out of the bag so to speak, and people are enquiring as to how they can participate, I have a decision to make. Do I say “No, you can’t participate because the program is only for onboard TopLine consultants.”

Or do I open the doors for people who have been looking at the TopLine program but haven’t made up their minds to join yet?

Make no mistake: these new additions are going to require a lot of additional time and effort on my part to get up and running and to support. Yes, the company that we are partnering with will be a tremendous help and will facilitate most of the programs. But I still have a huge obligation to our consultants to do everything I can to make them as successful as possible as quickly as possible. And I won’t flake out on that commitment.

So what’s fair? What is the best thing to do? Better yet, what is the honorable thing to do?

In my mind there’s only one thing.

The mistake was on our end. It was our office that sent the message to those who it was not intended to go to. Therefore we should be the ones who step up to the plate and honor the requests of those who have responded and want to take advantage of the new program, even if they are not current TopLine consultants.

So here’s what I’m prepared to do to make things fair, right and to show that we operate our business from a base of integrity.

I’m going to open the doors to a limited number of people who have enquired about the TopLine program in the past and have been waiting for the right time to make the commitment to join us. I can’t take everyone. But I can take some.

And I’ll even go a step further. To make it as easy as possible financially, rather than having to pay the full amount of the TopLine License Fee up front, I’ll slash it in half and you can pay the other half at just 10 percent of your earnings as you earn them: no minimum monthly payments required. You don’t earn anything one month (which is very highly unlikely), you don’t pay anything.

Not only that, but you’ll get all the new additions to the program at no extra cost. As was mentioned in the previous email, one of the reasons we are only accepting a limited number of people in the program is because we want to produce very quick and massive results for all the participants and then spin this off as a stand alone program that will sell as an upgrade to the TopLine program for an additional $10,000.00.

So you’re getting the entire TopLine program as it now stands PLUS all the new additions for half the price of the TopLine License Fees down, and the balance due as you earn income from your efforts.

To recap, here are just some of the new additions included that you will be getting:
- 35 to 40 confirmed appointments per consultant per month
- Your own personalized website
- CRM / tracking software
- Print and mailing services
- Improved monthly training

There’s more and in a subsequent email I’ll give you more details. But for now just know that we’re working hard to get these systems in place so you:
- Can eliminate your marketing
- Can focus on generating income by building your client’s businesses
- Have a complete tracking / follow up system in place
- Have your own personalized website to drive visitors to
- Have additional products and services to provide your clients
- A complete turn-key print and mailing solution and services
- Additional training and support

In some very early morning meetings this morning our team has made the commitment to add whatever additional support staff is needed to make sure everyone is well taken care of and that nothing and no one is left without the help and support they need.

Our next training will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, April 28th through May 1st.

March’s training sold out in 2 weeks without these additions, so I know that with these inclusions April’s training is sure to go fast.

As I mentioned earlier, we can’t take everyone, and our classes are kept to a small and manageable size so everyone gets all the attention and help they need. When people leave our training workshops we don’t want ANY questions left unanswered. We work hard to make sure you have everything you need to hit the ground running the day you get back home.

I owe you a sincere apology, I had planned on writing this email to you prior to this announcement coming out. My inspiration for this was the previous email that you had sent out regarding the Mastermind Group and what people were and weren’t doing. My lack of success and advancement to date is squarely on my shoulders as I am the one who has failed to follow through with the systems that you have provided. I have been hit or miss for a variety of reasons mostly associated with my existing job. I was prepared to walk away in January and then allowed myself to be drawn back in with the promise of a guaranteed 6 figure income for the coming year.

While the money is good, I have come to one glaring realization, my passion lies in working with other business owners and not in running an HVAC business for someone else. No matter how I look at it I cannot escape the fact that I don’t enjoy what I do every day for work.
