Here's an example of a marketing concept that works extremely well when executed properly. I've personally used it numerous times and have had good results. But when executed poorly or improperly as shown in this video, it can not only be confusing, it can go a long way towards negating the results you hoped to achieve.

Whatever message you introduce into the marketplace... whatever you say... however you say it... make sure all the pieces are congruent, relate to each other and make complete sense to the recipient. If someone has to guess what you're trying to do, if they have to interpolate or try to somehow bridge a gap or make a connection, they most likely won't do it.

The more clear you are with what you're trying to communicate... the less you make your reader, viewer or listener have to work... the easier you make it for them to "get it", the better chance you have of obtaining the desired outcome you have for your message.
